St. Patrick’s Day is a week long celebration of tradition and culture that stems from the large Irish Catholic population that formed a large portion of Anaconda. The Irish came here for jobs at the Anaconda company and carry on their culture and traditions in this annual celebration.
The week before is a 5k or 10k fun race / walk followed by awards and festivities at the local bars. The day of consists of Irish traditions from breakfast, to mass, to a parade and celebration. ONE OF THE FUNNEST
