Gear Swap and Recreation Expo

The annual Pintler’s Portal Hostel Gear Swap is coming up! This year we’re teaming up with the Anaconda Trail Society to raise funds for local recreation non-profits and increase outdoor recreation awareness.  We’ll be hosting some of our local outdoor recreation organizations and businesses to share information, provide services and hang out and have fun! Our Recreation Expo features Discovery Ski Area, Discovery Ski Education Foundation, Echo Lake Trail Association, Mile High Nordic, Anaconda Trail Society, Anaconda Outdoors and others.

The Gear Swap is a great place to pass along your outgrown, no-longer utilized gear, equipment and apparel and to find gently-used items for your whole family at great prices. We’ll be accepting clean, gently used gear of all seasons, ages, and sizes.

Here’s how it works:

  • Bring your clean, gently used gear, equipment, apparel for sale to Pintler’s Portal Hostel between 9:00 and 11:00am

  • Register, price and label your items with Anaconda Trail Society

  • 15% of sale price stays with Anaconda Trail Society and Pintler’s Portal Hostel

  • Come shop, eat, drink, chat with local recreation organizations and businesses, from 12:00pm - 4:00m - CASH ONLY

  • Pick up unsold items and payment for sold items between 4:00 - 6:00pm

  • Unsold items and payment not picked up by 6:00pm will be considered a donation

Come sell unused gear, find gear for the whole family, hang out, connect with local recreation organizations, eat, drink, be merry! Stay connected with us and the Anaconda Trail Society on Facebook and Instagram to keep updated as the date nears.
